The presentation of the accommodation was very welcoming when we arrived at the chalet with fresh towels, welcome pack and a brief in the apartment giving local details and directions.
The views from the balcony were stunning and more so were some of the views on the walks we covered. There are lots of activities in the valley to take advantage of, for all ages and interests.
The weather was definitely Mediterranean but pleasant relief was found higher in the mountains on activity days, however on rest days the views from the garden and Jacuzzi are extremely pleasurable.
We particularly enjoyed the ride up Helbronner overlooking Mont Blanc; the views were stunning and there was an unusual amount of unexpected activity which we never thought we would see. Rock climbing, trekking over the snow, camping on the glacier and mountaineers attempting Mont Blanc itself.
Jane and David have a bank of local knowledge and are ready to give advice, point you in the right direction and are even willing to accompany you on some walks with their two adorable cockers, Max and Peluche.
A truly memorable holiday! So much so, we are returning for the winter!

I had travelled independently to the apartment and as soon as I arrived David and Jane made me feel very welcome. Jane and David were very helpful in answering my questions and helping me plan my activities for the week which included walking trails in the mountains and white water rafting on the river. The apartment was well presented and clean with full self catering facilities. The apartment provided amazing views along the valley with a lovely balcony. I would highly recommend the apartments.

We had a lovely relaxing week in this beautiful valley . The apartment was well equipped, immaculate and very comfortable. The view from the top balcony was amazing and changed with the light every day. If you like photography or art you'd have plenty of choice here. But there's a lot that aosta can offer in the summer pleasant walks, cycle path at the bottom of the bank which is a flat ride and follows the river, we enjoyed walking it. The town is 5 min drive away, which is a pleasant mix of designer, normal and traditional shops. The narrow streets provide shelter from the heat and the food in the region is gorgeous . It was great that David and Jayne were on hand with ideas of places to visit. As we had the car we went to cogne and visited the waterfalls there. We had planned to go riding and white water rafting but relaxing in the garden and enjoying the sun and stunning views! Well it gives us an excuse to return. Lovely apartment in a stunning location .
